Tech giant Google has announced that it will allow employees to work from home until the end of 2020. This follows similar announcements from other major tech companies earlier this week.
Starting June, the company will start opening offices globally for some employees, but the bulk of the tech giant’s workforce will likely work from home until the end of the year. This is also greatly depended on local guidelines, Google confirmed.
The announcement comes after Facebook employees will also be able to choose to work from home until the end of 2020.
Other companies that have made similar announcements include Amazon, Twitter, and Slack. This means that regular office work may not return to normal for a while. Should other companies follow suit? Tell us in the comments below.
