Here are the Internet Settings for your Mobile Device

Once you get a new internet enabled phone, the first thing you want to get running is the Internet. Some Telecom companies automatically send you settings immediately you insert a new Sim card while others don’t.

This is not the case with some devices, hence the need to enter settings manually.

In order for a mobile device to make a data connection, it must be configured with an Access Point Name (APN) to present to the carrier. The APN is the gateway which allows the mobile device to seamlessly access the internet as if you were using a computer.  In the event that your data is not working when you have inserted your SIM card, please check the APN settings or Internet settings on your mobile device.

For most devices, this can be done by going to: Settings >More/More Networks Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
